				<title>Puppies available now and upcoming litters.</title>
				<link>http://www.barclayskelpies.com/client/index.cfm/2010/2/19/Puppies-available-now-and-upcoming-litters</link>
				<description>

				We hope everyone is getting the benefit of all this rain and not being over run by weeds. This year seems to be the year of the cathead, not a Kelpie&apos;s friend.

Available at the moment is a litter by Barclays Paddy out of Barclays Tinka. Have a look at our pups for sale page to see more detail. These pups are rareing to go and have all the trademarks of excellent working types.

Upcoming litters -

Barclays Panda X Midgbar Harry due at the end of March.

Midgbar Peg X Barclays Boss due the second week of April.

Roundhill Meg X Midgbar Moss due the end of March.

We are planning an Autumn training day. Bookings are limited so please let us know if you would like to be on the list. Once we have an idea of numbers we will send you a full program for the day. The cost for the day is $100 per person. This includes tuition, morning tea and lunch. This is a great opportunity to pick up a few tips and come and see the stud.

We will let you know when the litters hit the ground.

Jamie and Kate

				<title>Thred is a Mum again.</title>
				<link>http://www.barclayskelpies.com/client/index.cfm/2009/11/1/Thred-is-a-Mum-again</link>
				<description>

				Thred had pups on the 27th of September and produced another beautiful litter complete with a very fat and feisty cream pup.

An even litter of six with three Dogs and three Bitches. They are getting close to the weaning stage and I can safely say Thred is very ready for that to happen.

The father of this litter is Midgbar Moss which we put with Thred to achieve the allround station worker that Moss is known for. Moss is pretty pleased with himself at the moment.

The pups are doing well and being spoilt by our local butcher with a special pet mince which they love a bit too much judging by the enormous tummies they are dragging round at the moment.

Puppies will be ready to go from the 20th of November.

				<title>Jenna&apos;s Pups</title>
				<link>http://www.barclayskelpies.com/client/index.cfm/2009/11/1/Jennas-Pups</link>
				<description>

				More puppies at the farm. Jenna has again delivered a beautiful litter of pups born on the 17th of October.

4 Dogs and 2 Bitches: 1 Black dog, 1 Red and Tan dog , 2 Black and Tan dogs plus 1 Red bitch and a Red and Tan bitch.

They are just starting to open their eyes and looking to explore the farm. Jenna is a great mum but itching to get back to work.

Orders are being taken now for these pups which will be ready for new homes in about 6 weeks or so.

The father of these pups is Capree Burnie whose bloodlines trace back to Leecliff Harry one of the great Leecliff allrounders.

These dogs are already big and strong and should grow out to be tall athletic strong dogs like Jenna with the same work ethic.

But for now they are big cuddly pups waddling round the farm. Enjoy the photos and we will keep you posted.

				<title>Puppies, puppies and more puppies</title>
				<link>http://www.barclayskelpies.com/client/index.cfm/2009/8/2/Puppies-puppies-and-more-puppies</link>
				<description>

				Spring is in the air with the arrival of three litters. As mentioned before Pandas pups arrived awhile ago. They are on the ground now and on the move. Very hard to get a good photo of them as all they wanted to do was drink, drink and drink.

Bazzers Hannah is back for a visit and has brought her litter with her 8 of which are for sale. A great mix of black and tans and red and tans. Hannah is an old favourite and an excellent worker so we are looking forward to seeing how this litter develops. Hannah is living with Zoe and Phil now working goats and other farm duties.

We just had to show off &quot;Tank&quot; who is not for sale but will stay with us to grow into a sire. He is HUGE at only 2 1/2 weeks old. I think flea is glad she only had the one.

More litters on the way. Peg is due soon as is Thred. We will keep you posted.

All the best
Jamie and Kate

				<title>Training Day</title>
				<link>http://www.barclayskelpies.com/client/index.cfm/2009/5/23/Training-Day</link>
				<description>

				Despite a very windy day kicking up plenty of dust due to a complete lack of rain, we had a great day with about twenty dog owners and their dogs.

The aim of the day was to catch up with some of our dogs and owners to see how they were progrossing as well as hopefully provide a few training tips along the way.

We started early, 8am is early for me anyway, in order to give everyone plenty of time working with their dog and Jamie. A variety of techniques were demonstrated as we had people using their dogs on goats, sheep, cattle and recreational seagulls for our Wollongong friends whose dog Maya&apos;s breeding came through when she instinctively went into sheep dog mode in the yards. We were all very proud of her.

After a long morning it was time to call for tea and Jamie in who could have gone all day without a break. After a much needed respite from the wind in the shearing shed it was back to work for the dogs and their handlers.

As usual Jamie didn&apos;t draw breath and each dog was given at least two goes in the yards to fine tune their work on stock. After the morning session it was great to see some of the tips provided were taking effect.

As I write now there are still a few diehard handlers in the dusty yards getting the very last drop of working dog school before we run out of daylight and the dogs decide to call it a day.

Overall we had a great day and we really enjoyed catching up with people who have bought dogs from us in the past and making some new friends.

We will definately run another school and will keep you posted via the website as to dates.

Thank you to all the attendees especially those who travelled interstate and we wish you the best of luck with your working dogs.

Kate and Jamie

				<title>Welcome to our new look website.</title>
				<link>http://www.barclayskelpies.com/client/index.cfm/2009/4/30/Welcome-to-our-new-look-website</link>
				<description>

				We have finally got around to sprucing up our website.

Thank you to Jamie and Tiffany at Imagine8 Design Studio for doing such a great job and translating our ideas into a practical good looking format.

In other news, we have two litters to announce. A litter has been born from a mating of Barclays Meg and Midgbar Moss. They are 5 weeks old and full of energy. We have 8 pups all black and tan except one cream pup. Nearly all pups have been spoken for already.

Our other litter is also an exciting one as we used AI methods to mate Barclays Jenna with Avenpart Lukin. Four pups have been born, 2 red and tans (male and female) and two black and tans (male and female). At this stage we will be keeping them on at the stud to breed on from but if one becomes available we will post that information here on the site.

Upcoming litters will be Barclays Toby X Barclays Panda due on the 17th of June and Midgbar Moss X Bazzers Hannah due on the 29th of June.

We are looking forward to our training day in May which is fully booked out. We will post photos and information after the day and also let everyone know when the next one will be. If you would like to reserve a spot email us and we will put you on the list.

We hope you enjoy the new look site and make the most of the links to youtube to see some of the dogs in action.

Thanks again to Imagine8.

We will keep you posted.
